This final piece illustrates how rapidly popular-culture signs travel through everyday life, tying things together in intricate ways. The song Call On Me is added to a video segment from www.ihumpedyourhummer.com, a video blog dedicated to a physically explicit form of critique of Hummer cars on the grounds that they consume excessive fuel, pollute the air and constitute a danger to other drivers. One might imagine that the activists were inspired by the similarity between Hummer-humping and some of the dance moves in the original video.
